Step 1: Log in to Your Keysender Account
To begin the process of integrating Keysender with your Shopify store, you'll need to log in to your Keysender account. Do this by providing your account credentials (username and password) on the Keysender login page.
Step 2: Navigate to the Integrations Tab
After successfully logging in to your account, find the 'Integrations' tab on your dashboard's top menu. Click this tab to move forward.
Step 3: Activate Shopify Integration
Inside the integrations tab, find and click on the 'Shopify' option to activate it. Keysender will now display the Shopify tab, allowing you to connect your store.
Step 4: Check for Shopify in Your Side Panel
After activating the Shopify integration, check your side panel. You'll see 'Shopify' listed as one of the options.
Step 5: Access Your Stores
To finalize the integration process, click on 'Stores' in your side panel. This action takes you to a list of your stores on Shopify, allowing you to manage the ones you want to connect with Keysender.
Step 6: Adding Your Shopify Store
Inside the Shopify integration tab, click on the 'Add New' button. A dialogue box will pop up asking for your 'Store name' and 'Access token'. Please ensure that the URL you provide is your associated Shopify URL, specifically the one in the Shopify system, otherwise, orders will not flow into your Keysender account.
How to Find Your Shopify URL:
- Log into your Shopify store admin.
- Select the Shopify Settings button in the bottom left corner.
- Select the Store details tab.
- Your store name will be in the format [your-shop-name].myshopify.com. Keysender requires the entire URL. For example: [your-shop-name].myshopify.com.
How to Obtain Shopify Access Token
Step 1: Log into your Shopify account and navigate to the 'Add Apps' section.
Step 2: Click on 'Apps and sales channel settings' in the search/options bar.
Step 3: In the new screen, click on 'Develop apps'.
Step 4: Next, click on 'Create an app'. A dialogue box will appear titled 'Create an app'.
Step 5: Set the app name to 'Keysender' and keep yourself as the app developer, then press 'Create app'.
Step 6: In the newly created Keysender application, go to 'Overview' and click on 'Configure Admin API Scopes'.
Step 7: In the 'Admin API Scopes', select both 'read' and 'write' for all of the following scopes:
- Assigned fulfillment orders
- Customers
- Fulfillment services
- Merchant-managed fulfillment orders
- Orders
- Products
After selecting the scopes, click 'Save'.
Step 8: Navigate back to the 'API credentials' and click 'Install app'.
Step 9: You'll see an 'Admin API access token' appear in the 'API credentials' section. Copy this token.
Step 6 (Continued): Adding Your Shopify Store
Return to Keysender and paste the copied 'Access token' into the 'Access token' field in the dialogue box from Step 6. Click 'Save' to finalize adding your store.
Step 7: Successful Shopify Integration Authentication
After saving your settings in Keysender, you will have successfully authenticated the Shopify Integration. You can now connect your existing databases to your Shopify products.
Step 9: Product-Databases Linkage
Find the specific Shopify product you wish to connect to a Keysender database. Once found, select the product and choose the corresponding database from Keysender that you'd like to match it to.

If you prefer to use a custom email template for product distribution, select the 'Email Template' option. Browse through your

To view your new Keysender application, go to Apps, then press Develop apps

You'll now see the Keysender application you created
