Settings is one page with several tabs covering everything about your account: your own profile, your business details, security, and more. Some tabs already have their own dedicated guide; this article covers Profile and Organization in full, and points you to the right guide for every other tab so you are not guessing which one to open.
TL;DR
Nothing needs to be set up first. Every account has a Settings page from creation.
Open Account, then Settings in Keysender.
On Profile, update your First Name, Last Name, E-mail, Language, Timezone, or Default Currency, then click Update.
On Organization, enter your Business Name, Support Email, Business Email, address fields, Phone, Country, and VAT Number, then click Update.
On Security, change your password, set up or disable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA), view your API Key and API Secret (see Getting started with the Keysender API), and set Transactional security rules (see Activating fraud monitoring on orders).
Use SMTP Setup, Domain, Alerts, and Access page for their own dedicated setup, covered in Sending email using your custom domain, Hosting your Access Page on your own domain, Managing notifications for held orders, and Setting up your Access Page.
Each tab shows a green checkmark next to a field once it saves, and Profile and Organization changes take effect immediately across the panel.
| Symptom | Cause | Action |
|---|---|---|
| Update does not save on Profile or Organization | A required field was left blank, or the email format is invalid | Check every field on the tab for a red or missing checkmark before retrying |
| Two-factor authentication is not asking for a code at login | 2FA was never completed during setup | Go to Security and click Set Up Again |
| The API Key or Secret shown does not match what your integration expects | It was regenerated or you are viewing a different account's Security tab | Recopy both fresh from Security in the account you intend to integrate |
Submit a claim so Keysender Support can review it.
